if your mobo takes DDR400 then yes, i suggest you buy a new hardrive, not a 7200rpm something very fast like 10000rpm that will speed it up.

id get the 10000 rpm HDD that would speed it up alot. Thinking oh its just a HDD you have to understand that if your computer is giong to be fast you have be able to pull information fast.
