DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GET THE MSI Neo4 Board! It is a good board, but for a single Graphics card, the FATALITY Whips its ASS!! I have a Neo4 Plat, and they are good, but my Mom uses a FATALITY, and NOTHING can beat it PERIOD!

First off, OCing won't screw anything up, if you do it right, and I have a Fatality, so I can walk you through the easy steps to OC it. It is not dangerous if done properly. Secondly, RoseWill is just cheaper, and they make EXCELLENT products. The Patriot RAM is not well known, but is VERY GOOD. It has a lifetime warranty on it, and is very stable and VERY INEXPENSIVE for the timings they are giving you! The Winchester core is built on a 90nm process, making it run much cooler then the Newcastle based 130nm process core. This enables better OCing, and more stability even without OCing. SLi is WONDERFUL TECHNOLOGY, but I have it (the Neo4 PLat SLi) and it is not all it is made out to be. I mean, don't get me wrong, it is great, but the ABIT FATALITY makes SLi look crummy. With Dual Core Graphics cards almost here, there is no reason to go SLi at this point. The x850XT PE on that ABIT FATALITY board screams!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is ONLY SO MUCH PERFORMANCE FOR THE PRICE you need on a specific budget. OCing won't screw ANYTHING up with a little help from me and some others around here. I will be happy to walk you through it over MSN even if you want. Quite honestly, I would go for the 6800GT card, you will not regret it...

The parts I showed you are some of the best on the market either by PRICE vs PERFORMANCE or based purely on PERFORMANCE STANDARDS. If they are too high a price, then I can find lower end parts, but the PC won't turn out as well as it could with other parts. Also, the MSI 6600GT is VERY GOOD, but its cooling isn't all that great (No RAMDAC coolers...)

How about lets pick the computer you would get if you couldn't overclock.

The thing I don't think my dad would like it if I tried to overclock. One screw up and boom $260+ down the drain.

Ok... if I couldn't OC.... Hmm... well, even though the ABIT has AutoOverclocking, sure, that is fine, but you should not be scared to do it.

Here then, get this BAD BOY. You will be happy with this one, it is well made and has some cool features for stability.

ABIT makes some of the BEST boards around, and they come with LOTS of goodies!

As far as CPU goes, that is your choice, I would get the 3200+ 939 Pin Winchester Core CPU.

RAM, go with that Patriot RAM, it is LifeTime Warranty and great timing for an even better price!

Tower, totally up to you.

Graphics Card:
Tow choices, the top one here being much better, but also much more expensive. So choose wisely. The 6800 is EXCELLENT, but the 6600GT provides performance unrivalled for its price range!

yes go with the 6600gt. you wont be dissappointed IF your going sli. if your going with 1 card get teh 6800gt because you wont have to upgrade and get rid of the old card as fast.

Exactly Money, exactly. The 6600 is money saving, and if you can afford it now, get it. If you REALLY WANT SLi, then get the Neo4 or ASUS A8N SLi Deluxe. However, I do not think you should go with SLi unless you are willing to save up for another GPU, in which case you should get an SLi board now, and one 6800GT, then save up for another IDENTICAL 6800GT from the SAME manufacturer with the SAME VGA BIOS to put in in the very VERY near future.
