First AMD Dual Core benches and they look pretty dang good, also, notice that they were using the lower end 4400 so just imagine if they were using the 4800.

This is some news claiming that AMD may skip DDR2 and just go straight to DDR3. I don't think it's too bad of an idea since DDR2 has such a crappy design in general, which is one of the reasons why video card manufacturers decided to skip it and use GDDR3. Still may not be as good as you think though cuz the prices would be insane and I dunno if AMD would be able to get them low enough to make a profit. Anyway, enjoy!

They are looking more than impressive. Unfortunately, past complications make me dislike anandtech, just because I hate them, but the benchmarks themselves have truth in them. The super-efficient AMD64 cores are stomping all over the Smithfield, as expected.
