help with disabling integrated graphics

thx guys, but when i go into bios, it says "select disable onboard graphics to turn it off" but there is no freaking option

Oh... Check at the bottom of the bios for maybe a description of the button to disable it, or to go to a modify part of the bios. might for example be Insert..though it won't be, which might access a disable option.

Hope this works

Plot thickens...

You have to have the vid card plugged in in order to access this option. Stay plugged into the motherboard vid connection and go back in to the bios. It has to see another vid system to take its place. Kinda like you can't format your drive from inside windows.

No, there must be a way, though I don't know it.

Is there an option to run AGP (or what you have, maybe PCI-E) Acceleration in that case? That you can modify to make it see this first? Instead of the onboard chip?

Like selecting 'AGP Acceleration : Enabled?
or 'Initiate Display First' and select AGP, or PCI-E instead of onboard

I'm just gripping on straws now... but I hope there is an option for one of these.
