2 CPU help...

Hi all,
Jus wondering... my cous has just got a new pc and I looked through at its system specification and on the processor it has 2 CPU's :S
Now I'm a bit of a newb to hardware but I didn't know you could have to CPU's in a system. Am planning on upgrading my computer in the near future so would it be possible then to have 2 CPU's using my current one? (I have a p4 2.2ghz atm)

what processor does he have? The Pentium 4's with HT are 2 processors (Windows sees it that way, it is not physically 2 processors.)

Ah right, I dont have a HT, jus standard p4.
