I have a question about computers

I am just wondering if anyone knows about this. I feel that someone is listening in my phone when I am using it. The phone company tells me that noone has tapped into my phone. But I have heard stuff like, people can tap into your phone line and listen to your conversations through their computers. Is this true? Does anyone know?

It isnt possable, unless they have a Hard line tap, and belive me in a major city someone would notice.
Police officers need a warrent for tapping phones.
There are telephone services thru your computer yes, I like "Skype" But it uses alot of cpu, but awsome sound quality.
if you think you hear voices thru the phone line(iv had this problem) get a new phone, my old phone use to pickup FM and AM stations faintly, but there is no way to tap a phone line via computer.

<ADDON could be a brother pranking you or sumthing.
Are telephone conversations that important?
if so meet the person.
IF you saw this in a movie, its fake, only works for cell phones and 2nd phone would be banned from service.
