How to use Mirc?

Hey, my cousin just installed mirc for me, but i don't know what it is or how to use it, so if someone can tell me how to use it and what it is i would really apriciate it.

i used it briefly last year once. from memory u have to select a channel to chat in then find peopel and talk to them, try double clicking on the things, i remember there was lots of that. after that its their choice to talk to u or not.

if you don't mind me asking what is micro is it somekind of chat program?

You have to go threw the Server List pick a server and make a nick and your in. mIRC is used for all sorts of things, you can downlaod stuff from it, chat. It just easyer to find people that are looking for that kind of information. You can learn alot from people that are on there. Most are pritty Knowledgeable if they are one of the Ops of a Certain channle. if its for computers or ps2 xbox they all are cool most likely. I use it to downlaod the latest stuff for my Modded Xbox. They have helped out alot check it out.
