Which slot???

Ive just got the RAM for my computer. My MOBO is a MSI neo 4 platnium. What slot is it?? Green or purple... And it ballistix tracer 512MB

It doesn't matter unless you are dual chaneling RAM

Put in the first slot wich is usually marked as A or 1 or A1

In that motherboard, if they are dual channeling RAM (Increased bandwidth on supported RAM when using two)
put one in the green slot, and one in the blue slot, next to each other. If they do not support this feature, it won't make a difference in speed wherever you put them and so won't matter.

That seems like the way this board is working, otherwise it wouldn't be colour coded

To be a little more accurate put the first ram module in A1 and the second ram module in B1
