You have probably covered this, but when I run my system through 3Dmark05, it is sooooooo choppy i cant even watch it

I'm downloading 3dmark05 right now so I should be uploading my score pretty soon. I've got like 8 other huge files being downloaded now so it might take awhile.

Yeah, 3DMark05 really tests your GPU throughly.

I got a miserable 3308 on the 3dmark05. Now I'm thinking something's wrong. WIth my specs, I should be getting around 5000. I need to double check the BIOS to see if I'm running optimal settings.

My CPU score is 4466.

I think memory would matter on this test though, but I'm sure its mostly polygon/effects pushing power

If i updated my vid card to a 6600GT which I want to do, because at the mo I only get 1500 or something like that.
With a new card I could probably get around 3000, Wouldn't expect 5000, though this would be good!
