Ok, my internet cut off again and I called COmcast this time. GOt fed up. The tech told me that everything was working fine on their end and ask if I have my computer running continuously. Of course I did (for the last 3-4 days straight). Apparetly, the PC and modem has to be powered down completely every once in awhile and powered back on to work. The lease on the IP address or something expired during that time so by powering down and rebooting everything, the lease is renewed for the next 4 days.
