Hi,

I just finished putting together my system. It has 2GB PC3200 400Mhz on a MSI A8N Neo4 Platinum motherboard with a AMD 64 3800 CPU. Everytime i check the POST, it is telling me that the memory clock speed is at only 167Mhz... I was wondering why this is and how i can get the full 400mhz out of it.

The memory is kingston by the way,

thank you in advanced for the help!

HI there...

You're looking at the FSB clock not the memory clock. The memory clock will be sitting at 200mhz.
Now just so you don't have to take my word for it get EVEREST. At this link>

i thought i should be getting higher FSB speeds... my AMD 3800 says it goes up to 2000mhz and my mobo says it has up to 1000mhz support. Am i missing something here that I am only running at around 1/10 of that?

thanks for ur help!
