PCI Express x16 vs AGP

As far as I know there is only 16x16 cards for special computers not for desktops... If there is, that sounds interesting... Id like to see the performance.

Dont know if this helps but you may have noticed SLI graphics cards. These are cards thjat are PCI-X but have the ability to be linked together, giving more graphics processing power!

Obviously you need a SLI compatible motherboard.

How can you tell if your mobo is SLI capatible

^^^It'll say on the box and all over the place for starters, plus u'll have the 2 slots for ur graphics cards.

I can't stress this enough. PCI-X is completely different from PCI-E. Please don't get the two mixed up, it hurts my eyes to see the abbreviations used incorrectly.

Plus, I think all PCI-e cards are SLI ready anyways.
