Get the PCI-E now but don't get PCI-E2 because the second one will actually be slower, not what you expect hey Buying AGP would be like buying a Socket 754, they are dying. Also, no graphics card at the moment uses all x16, so it's a good upgrade route for when they do.

PCI-E is the better slot right now, but games and apps today don't even use half of PCI-E's full bandwidth.

Scalable Link Interface...its Nvidia's answer to ATI constantly kicking their ass. it allows you to use dual video cards, by using dual PCI-EX. look up the Neo 4 Platinum mobo if you wanna see the best (well better than ASUS)its almost the best..there are dual opterons and stuff but this is the best a normal person would buy
