From the top of my road i pick up a wireless network called 802.11b-SSID. I cant just get it from my home about a few meters away i have a belkin wireless thing. is there a way that i can make a thing that costs me free that will boost it so i can try it from my home.

yeh i saw a trick using a bit of wiring and a bake bean can to boost your signal somewhere

check google there are planty of tutorials around

or post in hardware software

Read the very first post there. Those are my home-made antennas. Maybe you can use them to get a better signal stength.
