Does anybody know a good website to learn all the technical stuff about hardware for computers? I know most of the basics but i'm looking to upgrade my computer and i have no clue what is what.

I already tried google and all i get is how to learn HTML and C++...

well i'm 14 and i know its hard when you want to upgrade parts of ur comp, but u have no clue what it what! trust me, once you've learnt abit its all amazingly simple, what are you looking to upgrade, hdd? mobo? cpu?

i only know this:

Pentium 4(ht) CPU 3.00 GHz and 504 of Ram
i don't know where to find more details.

504? do u mean 512?

look at your motherboard, there should be a couple of white slots (pci). tell me if there is one above all of the white ones. if theres is, it is slightly smaller and is more to the right than the pci slots. if you have this, its an AGP slot and allows ana gp graphics card which should be great for gaming.

ok 504 is still ok (not sure how you got that), but you might like to think about upgrading to 1gb of ram if you want switching from program to program and game to game even smoother. check my post above, i edited it
