Sempron and Duron

Which processor is equivalent to a celleron, Sempron or Duron?

The duron is but id go with a 3100+ sempron.

I was at a computer store today and they said that 32 bit Athlon XP's are discontinued. When did this happen?

I have just looked around and about 4 sources said they have discountinued most of the XP line so it will all probally be stopped shortly.

I don't get that...semprons have smalle FSB and I think Cache (i'm not sure about the cache...too lazy to check).

The Duron was the original competitor for the Celeron, but now the Sempron has taken over the Duron's job. It also kick's the crap outta the Celeron D.

if you looked on the amd roadmap they were planned to be discounted last year. they have no need for the xp line now since they have the sempron and amd 64.

but the athlon xp put amd back on the map
