Back on the subject though. If you wait for the new Venice cores on the AMD 64s, they can be amazingly overclocked and are real 64-bit processors.
But if you have £599 - £650 why not get an FX-57 with a San Diego core when they come out in the third quarter of this year. They may be around £700, I'm not sure, but they will be the best processors in the world for a long, long time. And if £700 or more is too much, again wait for the end of the year and get an FX-55 with a San Diego core. Trust me, you can't go wrong with an FX. Unlike with P4 EEs....they are just a way to burn money!
