make the bin dissapear

TweakUI (Microsoft program free) will do it for you no problems

If you have XP pro can do it this way
1) Go to START and select Run
2) Type GPEDIT.MSC
3) Navagate to User Configuration | Administrative Templates | Click on Desktop
4) On the right hand search " Remove Recycle Bin icon on the desktop " and double left click on it to ENABLE it.

or on XP Home
Create or modify the following registry entry

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\NewStartPanel

BTW I get paid to come down to the highschool in my area and come sort out comp troubles, in their comp lab they have Shuttle XPC's with sempron 2800's, they are ok, but they still have integrated (everything)

wll, you don't expect schools and colleges to know what to buy do you? They could get any old rubbish. Even if they get a good processor, this is no good without a good memory card to boot... damn it technicans that think they know what there doing... they hate me you know!
