quick question need help

Hi everyone
I just reformated my computer yesterday and today was installing some more programs. Just now my ferret ran across the keybord and all the sudden there are no icons on my desktop. I also tried making new icons and they never show up. All my programs work and I can access the internet so im hoping its an easy fix. Anyone know what to do???

Right clic on your desktop and clic :Show Icons.
If you don't have any on your bottom taskbar, right clic on it and that check Toolbars>Quicklaunch.
