i'm should i get a sledgehammer core or clawhammer core?

why wouldnt u get a winchester core? its the best core out, overclocks like crazy. the clawhammer can only overclock like 400mhz before it becomes not so great to deal with.

Sledgehammer isn't that bad either. The FX series uses it. But, if you like OC'ing then get the Winchester.

Ok. I know OC;ing. Winchesters do not like sub-zero temps if that pertains to you. Sledgehammer/claw are best for OC'ing though id getting watercooling. Get a 3000+...they will OC as much as a 3500+...the 3200 and 3500's arent good right nw witht the new onse they put out. A 3000 will OC as high as a 3500 so keep that in mind. PM if you need to know more.

how high will the 3000+ overclock with the thermal paste that comes with it? and teh stock heatsink?

Not sure. I just know that the stepping and architecture of the 3000 is better then the newer 3200 and 3500 and will OC further.

lol i only wanted to know because im goign to be stuck with the stock thermal compund for about 2 weeks...*sigh*
