I have a netgear WGT624 router with a desktop computer via wired and a notebook connected via wireless. When I choose to use dynamic ip addressing, both computers connect and all of the protocols work. But when I statically assign ip addresses, Every protocol works except http. I have checked and port 80 is completely open.
The protocols that I know are working are: TCP, Ip (because it gets an internet address), UDP, telnet, and I can ping each computer and router. I have programs running that connects fine with all of these protocols. Aim, soulseek, dc++, telnet client.
Any thoughts of what might be wrong. Except for the obvious port 80 not being open on both router and computer firewalls
