How do i work this 's-video' socket on my graphics card?

What do i do with this 's-video' on my graphics card? My card has an s-video socket and a cable that plugs into it, but i'm not sure how to use it. I've tried plugging the other end into the s-video socket on a dvd player but it didn't do anything. Am i supposed to get some sort of 's-video'-to-'coax' adapter or something so it can go straight into my tele? Somebody explain it for me...lol

You can get converters to go to your TV. Some cards might some with the converters, or sometimes you can even modify a cable work...
