LOL, my modest GF4 Ti4800SE, got a mere 1672 on 3DMark 2003.

Won't run on 3DMark 2005, not DX 9. LOL.

Anyway, I'm about ready to biuld my new machine. I'll kit it out with a GF6600GT.

i haven't tried the 3dmarks yet cuz it mainly mesures video card and yes i have the famous FX 5200, but my PCMARK04 score is 4301

Hmmmm....somewhere about $1000. But, the case and extra accessories added another $150-$200.

Thats a pretty good price for that system i don't know much about benchmarks but your results outwiegh that of the other people is that a good score or average please explain

Well I overclocked my CPU to 2.42ghz...the stock speed was 2.2ghz. But, my stupid mobo wouldn't let me raise the voltage, so if I raised the FSB it would become sorta unstable. I also overclocked my video card. I softmodded it so that the BIOS thinks that it has 16 pipelines and 6 vp's, when the pipes are actually hardware locked. Therefore they're "fake" pipes and it will give slightly increased performance (no guarantees).
