255 of ram 2394ghz?

Yea my comp specs is a p4 2.4ghz 256mb 37.2gb win xp sp2.When i check system info it says i have 255 of ram and 2394 ghz.Why does it say this?

you mean 2394 MHZ? cuz that would make sense and the ram already makes sense because the comp just does that...... its ok..

you no the pc does take up memory thats why its saying it.

It says 255 either a) a slight miscound on computers part b) (more likeley) 1mb has been given to run GFX off

Regarding your CPU it could say either 2.394 Ghz or 2394 Mhz this is due to a slight flucuation in the motherboards bus, it is a very common 'defect' it wont affect you what so ever though

Your mobo is probably using 512k of your 256Meg so you have a rounded off figure of 255. For your frequency 2.39 and 2.4 is awfully close. What matters most, that your PC works well, or the figures it shows which are not dead on. NO computers are dead ON, there is always some speed lost somewhere, and memory used you didn't figure.
