hey, i've got a wireless router in my house, with a desktop computer being the host which is wired to it downstairs, i've had no real problem till recently when the router was taken away for a night, when it came back, it says both on my laptop and on the desktop

"IP conflict"

any idea why is has started sayng this? msn has also beeing playing up, which mite be related to this, it stays logged in for like 2mins max, then signs out agen? any help?

thanks

Either you DHCP isn't working or you have given both your computer the same IP address...

I beleive for DHCP, if restarting the comps and router arn't enough, just typing

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

should get your comps a new IP address(done on each, in command prompt)
