ok can anybody else answer me, the more answers i have or criticism the better because then i can change stuff. oh btw with the stuff i have up top there i can get it with one paycheck (i'm 15 so i cant get a job so i work in my dads junkyard stripping aluminum which gets me about $500-$700.00 if im lucky a load so i want to stay around that price range for now. i also plan on buying a BFG 6600gt agp version after i get all this stuff)

ok or would you suggest i go pci-ex? if i go PCI-ex it would be:
AMD - Athlon-64 2.0Ghz, S-939 32/64 Bit, 512K, (3200+), Retail Box
GIGABYTE GA-K8NF-9 (S-939 NF-4, 1xPCI-E 16X, 4DDR, GbL, S-ATA RAID,Firewire-b-,8CH)
MSI NX-6600GT-TD128E 128M PCI-EXPRESS DDR3 VGA/DVI/TV-Out Retail, 2YR
with a grand total of $817.65 (remember im canadian) and for the AGP version it comes to $510.60, remember i want this to last the longest tiem without having to upgrade, at least the rest of this year

this is the easiest question i can ask. what is the minimum system to get no lag on doom 3 high settings and most other games? i have to know if AGP will cut it or if i should go pci-ex too. but answer my which system part of the question first. if anyone one here can play doom 3 high settings with no lag please post specs of your system for me to compare to

i have pci-e (as u can tell) and let me tell u... i had a reular 4x/8x agp and the results differ to quite some extent. the x300 isnt the best pci e but for the money and what it does its stilla rpetty good card. i just got it because thats all i could have afforeded at the time. the card i really want to get is:http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-102-463&depa=1
either that or the x850. damn nice cards... but i really want the x800 all in wonder but i cant find a place that has itfor pci e yet. ah well.

they have agp 6800gt's? i never knew that, i might stick with AGP for another year
i was looking on google.ca and i couldnt find what i was looking for. can anyone tell me what mem and core settings are good for a 9800 pro aiw?, i know pavilion can play with his 3000+ doom3 on ultra high settings with his 9800 pro o/c so i want to o/c my beast but cant find out what i should set them at
