My computer used to shut down when i hit the standby/sleep button, and the power led would flash, this is how i liked it. But now for some reason after i reformmatted the computer stays on and the power led flashes, how do i get it to shut down again?

Right click on desktop -> properties -> Screen Saver -> Power -> Advanced -> and change the "When I press the sleep button on my computer:" to SHUT DOWN
