Can you use prntscrn on winxp for media files?

I'm noticing more and more win xp doesn't like me pushing the print screen key to try and take a snapshot of my screen when i'm playing a music video.

I'm playing Aha - Take on me, and i'm trying to take a snapshot of the screen so i can put it on my collage for school. However, i don't think windows xp allows this. Windows ME allows it though i think... Is there anyone to get past this glitch?

I'm pasting in mspaint in XP and it just shows a black screen inside of the windows media player box instead of the movie clip i snapped.

Any ideas?
Maybe just go to my other comp and use ME?

I use win xp with win media player and i can't use the print screen button to snap a picture of a music video playing. Maybe i do snap the picture, however, the picture won't paste into MSPAINT.exe .

Well if you are playing a video a want to take a snap shot, you should first of all PAUSE your video where you want it! and print the screen using one of the many software available. Try this one.
