could anyOne help me please,
I am trying to installing a winXP using a bootdisk for unattended installation. I made a bootdisk, copied winnt.sif and winnt.bat to floppy and edited the autoexec.bat to call the winnt.bat but it doesnt work, it just appeared "The program cannot be run on DOS mode".

Did i lack something...?

you already posted in the General Hardware and Software forum, and please do not double post.

I don't know the answer to your question but you will probably get help soon :)

why are you using a boot disk to install win xp ? do you not have the win xp CD'S ? if you are just doing a fresh install, just boot up with the xp cd in the drive.

making shure that the boot order is cd drive 1st boot. if you are doing a system restore using the CD's, just boot up with the driver CD 1st.

im done, making PC up now...
am testing other PC now.
