hey all
I currently have an albatron 128mb vid card 8x, real shitty card
http://www.computeralliance.com.au/parts.aspx?qryPart=3358

now I don't want to dump this card as crap as it is as it still cost money I would like to get a 256mb vid card is there someway of incorporating both vid cards into each other so I would have effectively 384mb?
If not any ideas to save me some money, I will be getting a tv tuner card tomorrow and would mostly be using the vid card for watching DVD as well as playing vid card hungry games.

No way. The only way to bind two cards together is using "SLI" technology which has only just come out. I reccomend you buy one of ATI-all-in-ones which has a TV tuner in and a graphics card combined. But if you are looking to play the latest games (half life 2, doom 3) you should go for a seperate graphics card and tv tuner card.

Heres a pretty neat one from ebuyer- http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=74499

I agree with nasha, if ytou want to play the newer games, by the gfx card and tv tuner sepratly

Nasha, sig has to be 5 lines or less,

ALMOST GURU.

it's weird because I dont actually have the ATI model, they had a sapphire one called the theatrix 550 thats the one I got, it was 20 bucks less, and had the sapphire logo on it, but now sapphire isnt even listed in that section, but it has all the same things and features, even same remote and driver cd... just says ATI so it costs more.

Yeah, jealousy drives thru me!! me and u have a pretty similar system apart from urs works and mine doesn't and urs has 200% more ram!!

your proc doesnt work?
you should get a new one, if you cant afford another 3200 get a sempron 2400... they are pretty sturdy, And i got one stable at 2.4ghz once. (but you dont even need to change the multipliers to get to 2.0ghz, just bump the fsb ut to 200mhz)
BTW I LOVE MY RAM :)
