Well I just realized when i ran everest on my sony vaio that they acualy use

wtf.......... i thought HP only use discount mobos and same with compaq
Well.
A lot of companies make stuff for other companies and private label them. I figure it never occured to them that one day somebody would sit down and create a system scanner or that some adventrous soul would have the cajones to open up the case. We never would have known if it wasn't for them. Most of the time however, the companies making the product play them close to the vest and it's hard to get data on the product. But not impossible. I have a few HP and Compaq's come in my shop so I have to know who makes what to get the basic drivers for them. It gets tidious some times...
