i have a sony vaio Fs series. for some reason, whenever im running a full screen program, i.e. a movie or game, and i try to adjust the volume, it automatically minimizeds the program. this is really annoying. i dont think this is suppose to happen, and i've looked all over for the option to change it on my laptop, but i can't find anything. my brother also has a vaio laptop (S series) and his doesn't do this. can anybody help me?
btw: i have to press Fn and F3/F4 to adjust the volume.

Lol

are you using windows media player?
If you are, then theres nothing that can be done to help, its not a defiency its just that windows media player is set to minimize at the move of a mouse or button touch when running in full screen. I know it is annoying

yeah i am. this didn't happen on my old laptop, thinkpad. and when my brtoher does it on his S series windows media player doesn't do anything either.

i dont think u guys understand what im saying.

when i run any program full screen (a game, a movie, even when i full screen I.E using F11) and i try to adjust the volume, it just minimizes the program.

its not windows media player's problem, its the volume adjustment.

anyone got any ideas how to fix this?
