All I need is mobo cpu hdd, ram and cheap video card

What kind of motherboard does your case support? I'm guessing an ATX... Here's what I found that is an ATX motherboard:

Motherboard (ASUS "A7V8X-X" KT400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU) ($52): http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=13-131-451&DEPA=1

CPU (AMD Sempron 2400+ 1.667GHz, Socket A Processor) ($67):

Memory (Kingston 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-2700) ($63):

Whew... I know it is more than you said, but this isn't the worst stuff out there either. I'm new to this stuff, so get someone else to make sure all of this is going to work together. I'm pretty sure it will, but make sure someone else checks it if you decide to go with this.

I did the best I could... Hope it helps!

He said he only needs it for internet, word and some excell, So why that video card? If he isn't going to play any games, just get some cheap 16 MB videocard.. that is if your not going to play any games. If you are, then yeah i guess that videocard will do you good. Where you located?

I would go and buy a used computer; you would be surprised at what type of used computers you can by for $200. If it is canadian, I've seen PIII 833 Mhz, 20 Gig hd, 256 Meg RAM, 32 Meg video card, network card and operating system.
Check for used PC dealers in your area if you are interested. Used PC are fine if it is just to get on the internet; what matters in the connection.

Swift, the reason I picked out that video card is because you never know what can come up. I mean, who knows? He may need to use a graphically demanding program at some point in time, so you might as well get a moderate video card instead of getting a true piece of crap.

That's my take on it.

I;m located in California. As for the cpu it could be intel or amd. Case is ATX

Yeah, that looks good! Awesome find man! Get some PC2700 RAM though, it'll be cheaper and as you said you only need this computer for low-demanding tasks. Keep in mind, though, you need some thermal paste. I doubt that the processor that it comes with has the thermal paste included. Might as well get some nice stuff (Arctic Silver) just for the extra coolness (as in temperature). It's about 10 bucks at CompUSA, which is where I got mine.

Hope that helps.
