Hi, I'm programming in VB but I don't have the actual program. I use the macros in Word and a I can do much of what you can do in VB. I cannot compile .exes however and would like to know if anyone has a compiler for VB (which seems somwhat pointless, as if I bought the program it would do that for me) or know where I can obtain VB from for free or very little ((-£50) I havn't got much money))

Its not time limited - although by late March when Beta 2 comes out it will be old. Then of course, just uninstall and reinstall.

But yeah - that is the best option. You can download the express versions and a Beta of the new MSDN Software (you can find a web version of it here) and MSSQL 2005 Express Beta, or you can order a DVD of the full pack including Web Developer and a few other of the tools to be available in Professional and Standard that aren't in any Express Version. Its about... $5? Something like that. £3.
