OP OP R Rustydog Solid State Member Messages 14 Feb 24, 2005 #14 I'm also have issues with my vga, it won't play far cry, if it does auto detect for the game it sets everything to low and if you put it on very high, there are maps that look discolored in diffrent areas. could this also be my mobo?

OP OP R Rustydog Solid State Member Messages 14 Feb 24, 2005 #16 I just updated my bios and my cpu temp is now reading 35C at idle. Is this a more accurate number?
M mini_2003 Daemon Poster Messages 600 Feb 24, 2005 #17 that's a little more like it, but still, you gotta have pretty good cooling on ur cpu, cuz i have a 3.2 Prescot HT, and im getting 47 at idle

OP OP R Rustydog Solid State Member Messages 14 Feb 24, 2005 #18 it's only the stock heatsink, my dad has 3.2 and his runs 60-62 idle, but asus says that the stack cool feature cools about 10C so that might be it.
