I have a question, and, yes, I already tried a search on it but I really couldn't find anything. It could be my searching abilities, because I thought there might be something about this.
Anyways, I have a Maxtor 160 GB hard drive, and I'm having trouble with Windows recognizing it. The BIOS does, however, when I right click on "Local Disk" in "My Computer" it only shows the drive capacity of 137 GB. I already know about the "137 GB hard drive barrier" and I have looked into it. I downloaded an enabler from Maxtor's website that was supposed to fix it. However, it didn't. It's really weird how the BIOS recognizes it, but Windows doesn't. How can I get Windows to recognize it?
Thanks!
