program is not installing

Hi,
I was trying to install TOEFL Powerprep software on my laptop which has window XP on it. But everytime I got this message.
C:windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft Windows applications. Choose close to terminate the application.
Could u help me to come out of this.

It sounds like the version of software isn't made for Windows XP.

Download and install FreeDos http://www.freedos.org/
and then install your software.
