What do you guys think? My budget is $1,500.00-1,600.00
I need everything except an operating system and speakers.
I will be using windows XP Pro.
I plan on placing my order Monday or Tuesdayif everything works out.
Will this system run Doom 3 and Far Cry if I OC the Video Card and Processor?
I will probaly upgrade a year or two down the road but will this get me by for awhile?

i think you would need more wattage, you can get the Aspire 520W one from newegg for only 60. the rest, looks ok, i think.

AMD, that mobo is an overkill. Go with the Asus A8V Deluxe, or whichever their most current 64bit mobo is.

Yeah, I have an Asus A7N8X and it has worked fine for me for a year. I have had no problems with it.

lol, go with what amd said, he knows prolly. .... the most about evthing lol, and ya, u need pci E for sure, and with a 2ghz fsb .... lol that doubles msi fsb, anyways, bigger psu, and better gfx card, and even with the set up u listed, otehr than the mobo/cpu not being compatable, would ezily ply all the games with out OCing
