how much of a difference will a video card make in video editing?

right now, i have an FX5200 AGP 8x, and i do a fair amount of video editing, using ULEAD Media Studio Pro. If i upgrade, lets say to a 6600GT or anything under 200, will i see a difference, if any, that will make it worth the money.

by difference i mean speed, quality, etc.

all those things will increse depending on the model od graphics card...........better picture quality and stuff....make sure to connect the monitor to the card
