[All My Life]

All my life I've been searching for something
something never comes never leads to nothing
nothing satisfies but I'm getting close
closer to the prize at the end of the rope
all night long I dream of the day
when it comes around and it's taken away
leaves me with the feeling that I feel the most
feel it come to life when I see your ghost
calm down don't you resist
you've such a delicate wrist
and if I give it a twist
something to hold when I lose my grip
will I find something in there
to give me just what I need
another reason to bleed
one by one hidden up my sleeve

Don't let it go to waste, I love it but I hate the taste
weight keep pinning me down
will I find a believer
another one who believes
another one to deceive
over and over down on my knees
if I get any closer
and if you open up wide
and if you let me inside
on and on I've got nothing to hide
then I'm done done on to the next one

- Foo Fighters

Did you know that Foo Fighter's lead vocalist, Dave Grohl, used to be Nirvana's drummer?

Very nice - found it in Anglish, there isn't an English Sung Version - but it makes sense to show the english words or it would make no sense!

What a pile of propaganda rubbish... I'm sure you wouldn't be posting it if you'd actually live in Russia during that time (poor misinformed LK).

My favorite song: Street Fighting Man (Rolling Stones)

Ev'rywhere I hear the sound of marching, charging feet, boy
'Cause summer's here and the time is right for fighting in the street, boy
Well then what can a poor boy do
Except to sing for a rock 'n' roll band
'Cause in sleepy London town
There's just no place for a street fighting man
No!

Hey! Think the time is right for a palace revolution
'Cauce where I live the game to play is compromise solution
Well then what can a poor boy do
Except to sing for a rock 'n' roll band
'Cause in sleepy London town
There's no place for a street fighting man
No!
Get down

Hey! Said my name is called disturbance
I'll shout and scream, I'll kill the king, I'll rail at all his servants
Well, what can a poor boy do
Except to sing for a rock 'n' roll band
'Cause in sleepy London town
There's no place for a street fighting man
No
Get down

Has to the be

IN the END = Linkin Park!

Perfect for a funeral if you listen to the lyrics

no it isn't. It is a pile of propaganda and it doesn't even sound good. IF you want beautiful Russian music, look at Tchaikovsky.

ah i love that song! but its not my favorite. close though... my favorite right now is "Dragged Down" by Taproot. but any song by System of a Down could also be considered my fav song...

o and i'll get the lyrics up for my song later.
btw, no i didn't know he used to be nirvana's drummer....all i know is he had some connection with Queens of the Stoneage or something..

Best song ever.... Blink 182 - Adam's Song

I never thought I'd die alone
I laughed the loudest who'd have known?
I trace the cord back to the wall
No wonder it was never plugged in at all
I took my time, I hurried up
The choice was mine I didn't think enough
I'm too depressed to go on
You'll be sorry when I'm gone

I never conquered, rarely came
16 just held such better days
Days when I still felt alive
We couldn't wait to get outside

The world was wide, too late to try
The tour was over I'd survived
I couldn't wait till I got home
To pass the time in my room alone

I never thought I'd die alone
Another six months I'll be unknown
Give all my things to all my friends
You'll never step foot in my room again
You'll close it off, board it up
Remember the time that I spilled the cup
Of apple juice in the hall
Please tell mom this is not her fault

I never conquered, rarely came
16 just held such better days
Days when I still felt alive
We couldn't wait to get outside

The world was wide, too late to try
The tour was over I'd survived
I couldn't wait till I got home
To pass the time in my room alone

I never conquered, rarely came
But tomorrow holds such better days
Days when I can still feel alive
When I can't wait to get outside

The world is wide, the time goes by
The tour is over, I've survived
I can't wait till I get home
To pass the time in my room alone"
