Spybot is a great Anti-Spyware tool especially when combined with Adaware SE and Microsoft Anti-Spyware you should be safe but i don't think you can get out of it if you reformatted and spyware is still on there unless you actually use a hard drive boot disk killer. and then install windows but thats my guess.

Umm i reformated and i think i got rid of everthing but now the system is unstable
