Password Help?

I can't be the only person in the world who's forgotten their password. I can't believe it's this hard to remedy.

Zoomtm, I just got off the phone with Dell and they said I need to reformat the computer. I'm not buyin' it. I believe they (Dell) always says reformat instead of trying to find a solution. It's easy for them to say since it's not their computer they're wiping clean. Dell also told me that it's not working because I have Upgrade and not the full version. I just bought the full version from them and am hoping Best Buy will take back the Upgrade version I bought from them.

Dude, i told you to reformat. You have too. You have to believe dell and me. JUST REFORMAT AND START OVER, VERY EASY.

well he could just reinstall xp without formatting so that he can all his stuff he wants back, then do a real format.

You guys are almost making it embarrassing for me to say I'm not a he. lol

Is there a site that will tell how to reformat my computer. I've done it before, but a long time ago and I don't remember how I did it.

try changing your first boot drive to "CD-ROM" or drive "D:/"
