I am contemplating between getting an Nvidia or an ATI. I have always used ATI but i am thinking is it time to change?

I would rather you post cold hard facts over opinions, but i dont mind opinions. Some good or bad expiriences you have had with either would not be bad.

THANK!

nVIDIA

Pros:
-More performance for your money
-Has a sexy nymph and mermaid for a mascot (screw Ruby). :p
Cons:
-Uses more power
-High-end cards use 2 slots

ATI

Pros:
-Uses less power
-Most cards are space-saving
Cons:
-Most cards are more expensive than they're nVIDIA counterparts, while performing about the same or even worse

I have had only problems with ATi and so have my friends. I'm an Nvidia person myself.

so.............................GO NVIDIA

Pro's (Not mentioned)
Easy to OC with software built in
Awsome Dual display modes

lol, if ur getting a really expensive pci E card, and plan on spending 500 bux, ati (x850 XT PE)
if ur limit is >200 then Nvidia

Eh. ATI only owns teh High-end market. They suck when it comes to mid-range. If you have $500 to spend, tehn go for ATI. But, if you only have about $200-$350 then settle for nVIDIA.

i have been using ATi since i had a computer not a problem yet...my 9800pro plays every game fine including doom 3 at 60 fps with maximum detail on

never have had a nvidia...but it seems like they are gettin more popular now like ati used to be

If you already have a 9800 pro, why are u upgrading? At least wait a while for the next series of cards to come in, you already have a great card capable of everythign thats out there right now.
