Hard drive interface question????

What will my dell dimension be? I want to buy a harddrive but have no idea what type it is i need.

SATA, not ide. Itis a new pc, they use SATA ut ask dell.

yeah, only like the Dell 8xxx series and XPS use SATA! Dell is WAY TO CHEAP to do SATA! Your HD interface is EIDE (ATA 100/133) Get a hardrive as such.
