I have to go with Western Digital. They make 10,000 rpm SATA, 8 Meg cache hard disks which are extremely reliable. We all like fast PC's, so for me WD presently makes the fastest most reliable hard disks.
I have had 2 Western Digital HDD's. One 30 gig and the other 40. Each of them crapped out on me after a year and a half of use.
Then I moved to Seagate 5 years ago and I have never had any problems with any of the drives I bought back then. It's pretty nifty, my vote goes to Seagate out of experience.
