Hey crew_dawg16,
Not sure why everyone is jumping to the conclusions they are so lets start off slow and find out what we are dealing with. Maybe they will be right.
First off, are you running Windows XP?
If you are Windows XP has a setting (turned on by default) that automatically reboots the system when STOP errors occur. So, this is were we are going to start (if you havn't already tried it).
1. Right-click My Computer and select Properties from the shortcut menu.
2. Click the Advance tab. Under the Startup and Recovery pane, click Settings.
3. In the startup and recovery dialog box, uncheck Automatically Restart.
Now, if that was the problem. The next time the STOP error occurs, a screen will appear that describes the source of the error.
Write down the information and post it here.
If you don't have Windows XP or you know this is not the problem. Post here and let me know.
