you can also back up your hard drive (unless its like 250 or 300gb) and wipe the drive then start fresh. i think its alot better, but of course theres other solutions .

if you have a sata cd rom drive and sata hardrive could that bhe the problem of windows xp not reconising ur cd drive? you need a floppy drive to boot the drivers so windows xp reconises your hard drive, not sure how you would get a sata cd drive working though

oh ok lol sorry, yer you can get sata cd rom drives now like my new plextor drive (or however you spell it i dunno lol) dvd burning x16 and nice neat sata much better then the old ide

inside the windows file there is an uninstall file and u can actually uninstall windows i forget how but i read it somewhere once
