Internet won't work on my computer!!

Wouldn't I have to re-install windows though also? Which is kind of a problem since I have a pirated version.....

Nevermind guys, I finally fixed it, well my dad did actually, he didn't even really know what he was doing, but he went into my all programs list and saw msn explorer or something and clicked it and then msn.com came up and I've been able to use the internet ever since, although I changed my homepage and got rid of IE and dl'ed Firefox. Kind of ironic that my dad (who is computer illiterate) figured the thing out, but whatever I guess I can now say I'm officially back now that my computer and internet are working.
