New computer - i need help

Have u got bothe hd and cd-drive set as master on the same ide cable!!!

I dont know if this matters, but its an WD ATA serial hard drive. And I havent messed with any of the wires so i would assume (maybe wrongly) that the people at ibuypower would not put them on the same cable. The thing that i cant figure out is that BIOS used to allow me to select the order in which to boot and my dvd drive was one of the options. Now, its not there.

check your secondary drives, where u enabled your hdd, and check the secondary master, and see if u can select the dvd drive
