Network Help PLEASE !!!!!!

Hi Everybody!

I wonder if anybody else has had this problem?

I run a home wireless network and have enabled file sharing on my chosen files. The problem is that I cannot open some if those files, even though they are shared files/folders and they appear on my "network places"

My network is my main PC, plugged into a netgear wirless networking device. My laptop is the other PC, which picks up the wireless signal. I can open some files/folders and even use the printers withWiFi, but it's just some of the files I have the problem with.
I am running XP pro on both machines.

I have to administrators logging onto my main PC, but there is no log on the laptop.

Any Ideas?

is the netgear able to be administered eg logging on to it to change settings

I have a netgear wireless router MR814 V2

There is sofeware with it, I shall have a look.
This is a very strange problem because the IP addresses are OK and I can open some other files/folders in "my network places"

No, the software is only for setting up IP address and internet connection

did you make sure teh workgoup names are the same too??

are they currently "in use" by any other application on the other systems??? I have that problem alot.
